HOW HE WORKS

Deep and broad exploration before moving. He studies the landscape, then moves by relationship, one person at a time.

Seeding a movement. Early customers, operators, experts, and capital who share the thesis and compound into advisors, launch partners, and first paying users.

First functions, hands on. With a small team of seasoned experts, he develops the concept, market frame, product shape, growth channel, early partners, early customers. As traction grows, he hands functions to operators who can take it further.

Proven tech, new category. The novelty lives in the market frame, product shape, and leveraged-efficient growth potential, not in the plumbing. Lower execution risk, shorter path to scale.

Attention spotlighting is focused on the work, partners, and customers. Not on personal brand.

TRACK RECORD

Bivvi (2026–present). Founder. Civic infrastructure for the neighboring instinct. Private by design, ad-free. Early alpha deployed. Clearset investors have reinvested to support the transition to Bivvi.

Clearset (2017–present). Founder. Category incubation vehicle Bivvi emerged from. Backed by 25+ individual angels on SAFEs.

Scope 5 (2009–2021). VP, Co-founder. First U.S. SaaS that was solely for enterprise sustainability data management, and included a library of calculators. The category was defined as we built it. Acquired by Environ Energy.

Dashwire/HTC (2012–2013). VP, Partner Dev. Transformed a stalled-out product’s underlying tech into a potential $100m+ Android-provisioning line of business, validated by three of the largest global carriers. Co-inventor on 2 related patents.

Transit Channel (2008–2010). Founder. Won a competitive RFP with King County Metro Transit to incubate “first-of-a-kind” Transit Channel for rider engagement, first sponsorship partner, and a path to scale across transit agencies.

Junxion (2003–2007). VP, Co-founder. Built the first mobile hotspot allowed and offered by U.S. wireless carriers (Sprint, then AT&T), as one configuration of an early transportable cellular router. Named inventor on 2 issued patents. Acquired by Sierra Wireless (NASDAQ: SWIR).

FizzyLab (2000–2001). Director of Account Dev. Took the technology behind an under-selling flagship product and slightly reshaped it into a new solution, which won over FizzyLab’s largest customers (e.g. Time, Hearst, Belo, Gannett).

MA Network (1995–2000). Product manager, then director of sponsorship and content. Turned a shelved product into a first-of-a-kind networked, location-based media line of business; that momentum drove the acquisition by SpaceLabs Healthcare (NASDAQ: OSIS).
